Assessment for Arthritis Pain

• It should be taken with or after food.
• You should not exceed the recommended limits of alcohol consumption.
• You should not use Naproxen at the same time as any other medication in the same class (e.g., ibuprofen tablet/cream/ gel).

• Your pain worsens or spreads to other areas.
  
• Your pain is severe or not improving within 2–3 days.
  
• Your pain is significantly affecting your quality of life
• If you have any concerns at all regarding your condition or naproxen

I have been informed about the potential side effects and interactions of naproxen and I will read the patient information leaflet before I start taking it.

I confirm if I am experiencing any of the following 'red flag' symptoms then I must seek medical attention immediately:

• Vomiting blood or dark particles
  
• Blood in your stool or black, tarry stools
  
• Severe stomach pain, heartburn, or indigestion
  
• Persistent nausea or diarrhoea
  
• Sudden severe pain
• Back pain associated with numbness in legs/feet or problems going to the toilet
• Chest pain or shortness of breath
• New rash and/or sensitivity to light
• Any other serious medical concerns

I understand that providing false information may result in my order being cancelled and may have health implications.

I will contact my GP and inform MedsDoctor if I have any concerns or experience any side effects, start any new medication, or if my medical conditions change during treatment.

I agree to follow sick day rules for naproxen, including stopping it during illness that causes dehydration (such as vomiting or diarrhoea) and restarting only once well again.
