An at-home test to detect high levels of uric acid in your blood. High uric acid can lead to gout, a common form of inflammatory arthritis that causes joint pain, swelling, and reduced movement.

Who is this test for?
This test may be suitable for people who experience symptoms of gout, most commonly sudden and severe pain in a joint. This often affects the big toe, but can also occur in the feet, ankles, hands, wrists, elbows, or knees.

Gout is more common in men, particularly between the ages of 30 and 50. You may be at higher risk if you:

  • Are overweight or obese

  • Drink high amounts of alcohol

  • Have high cholesterol or high blood pressure

  • Have kidney problems

  • Have diabetes

⚠️ Important: If your symptoms are severe, ongoing, or getting worse, please contact your doctor promptly. This test does not replace an in-person medical assessment with your doctor.
